About
Senetchut Menab Nehti, best known as Sen Floyd, is a Brooklyn-born Director, Photographer and Author.
He first picked up a camera in his early teens as a means of creative expression, transforming a hobby into a lifelong pursuit of storytelling. Sen began exploring narrative art in grade school and went on to study cinema at the Film Connection Institution. He further honed his craft at the New York Institute of Photography and expanded his skills in design and marketing through Yellowbrick.
His work has been exhibited in esteemed institutions including The Studio Museum in Harlem, the Jewish Museum, MoMA, and the African American Museum of Dallas. His photography has also been published in The New York Times, Vibe, Complex, Paper Magazine, The Source, MPB, Sheen, and Sharp Magazine.
Most recently, Sen collaborated with Canadian sports and tech-wear company Arc’Teryx on a joint gallery exhibition. He is also the author of two photo books: Same Difference and Fin, both of which showcase his unique perspective on culture, people, and place through street photography. Sen has also been awarded the 2023 People's Telly Bronze Award.
