Senetchut Men Ab Nehti, best known as Sen Floyd, is a Brooklyn-born Photographer and Director. Having picked up acamera in his early teen years as a means of creative expression, Senetchut transformed a hobby into a lifelong passion. Heavily influenced by New York City’s diverse culture, Sen’s raw approach gives his work in motion and still an organic characteristic. At the age fifteen Sen’s work was featured in museum galleries such as the Studio Museum of Harlem, Jewish Museum, and MoMA. He began studying the art of storytelling in grade school, and later, studied documentary filmmaking under the guidance of Albert Maysles at the Maysles Institute and Cinema. He continued his quest for expanded knowledge in the cinematography at the Film Connection Institute, and later for portraiture at the New York Institute of Photography. Currently He is study Marketing and Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Sen works coastal—both in NY and LA.
Sen Floyd Productions LLC has produced a variety of documentary shorts, narratives, music videos, corporate, infomercials, as well as commercials. SFP has worked with companies such as Apple Music, Tribeca Film Institute, SanDisk, Adorama, Asl Productions, Stones Throw and a plethora of other companies. SFP's work has been published by The New York Times, Village Voice, Vibe, Muse, The Source, Afro Punk, and many more.
